Dissertation involved the design, construction, programming, and testing of a microprocessor-controlled personal air sampling pump responding to the respiration of the wearer. Undergraduate Research Activities: Physiological effects of specific protein deficiencies in pregnant rats. Three dimensional reconstruction techniques of mitochondrial structures based on electron microscopy. Graduate Research Activities: Masters Thesis, CSUN; Flowrate and Air monitoring for Benzene. Dissertation, TAMU; A Respiration Modulated Air Sampling Pump. PUBLICATIONS "Flowrate Associated Variation in Air Sampling of Low Concentrations of Benzene in Charcoal Tubes", AIHAJ (06/82). "Factorial Analysis on the Microcomputer", AIIE (1985). “A Respiration Modulated Personal Air Sampling Pump”, Appl. Occup. Environ. Hyg. (12/94) COMPUTING EXPERIENCE Computing experience developed on a variety of systems on mainframe and micro level. Languages include FORTRAN, Basic, Pascal, Forth, Dbase. Visual Foxpro, Lotus 123, HTML and assembler. Most recent project involved the development of a chemical inventory database management program. The program was designed to track items based on location, custodian, and specific health and safety and environmental characteristics. The program prints and utilizes bar code data, and runs under windows 3.1. A windows 95 compatible version is in development.
